UPSL MATCH WEEK 4 REPORT

Sunday 4/27 our lads earned a quality 4-0 result against North Stars Berryville. Mudi Jagha opened the scoring in the 25th minute after leaping high to win a header in the box from a Chris Barnard corner kick! We went in to halftime up 1-0. Changes in the 2nd half made a massive difference! Peter Mattocks hit a beautiful cross to a surging Wassim Sassi at the far post who took it down off his chest and blasted it far post with his left foot in the 68th minute! Christian Kershaw had an incredible long throw to find Peter Mattocks in the 78th minute to make it 3-0! Wassim Sassi capped off the scoring earning his brace in the 84th minute! Goalkeeper Mert Meric Sayili earned a shutout on the day!

This result sees our team sit top of the DMV South table with a 4-0-0 record. Our next match we will host the Alexandria Reds on May 4th at Thomas Jefferson High School. 5PM kickoff! See you out there!
