UPSL DMV SOUTH QUARTER-FINAL REPORT

On June 22nd our UPSL side hosted local northern Virginia side, Doradus FC in the UPSL DMV South Quarter-Finals! With the temperature reaching over 100 degrees.. the match did have a slower pace as players had to conserve energy. Doradus had numerous chances that they did not finish. Ibrahim Conteh subbed on in the second half and made an immediate impact. After picking up the ball in midfield, Conteh threaded the needle to find Malik Thom who paced the back line and finished his chance one on one in the 78th minute for our lone goal!

This result earned our side a place in the UPSL DMV South Semi-Finals against Lynchburg FC on June 29th at Lynchburg City Stadium.
