UPSL ROUNDUP | UNDEFEATED VIRGINIA NORTH REGULAR SEASON CHAMPIONS!
Our team closed out the regular season in emphatic fashion with an 11–0 victory over Club Petrolero, featuring nine different goal scorers!
The goals came from Peter Mattocks, Fela Osifeso, Jordan McMillen, Kareem Gharbi, Chris Barnard, Miles Powell, Dilane Zouantcha, Duncan Dunkwu, and Tobi Osifeso in a true team display of attacking brilliance. Between the posts, goalkeeper Maxim Davis secured a well-earned clean sheet to complete a dominant performance all around.
This outstanding result caps off an undefeated regular season, finishing with 9 wins, 0 losses, and 1 draw, while scoring 56 goals and conceding only 6 across 10 matches.
Following the match, the team proudly lifted the UPSL Premier Division, Virginia North Conference Regular Season Championship trophy!
With this achievement, we’ve earned a bye to the conference semifinals, where we’ll face Virginia Dream on November 9th at Thomas Jefferson High School. Kickoff is at 5 PM!
