UPSL ROUNDUP | 3-1 win sends us top of the table

An all around team effort sees our UPSL side move top of the Virginia North Conference table. The last meeting saw Virginia Revolution earn a dominant victory for our only loss of the 2025 Spring season. The group didn’t forget that result. The first half went back and forth but neither side was able to find the back of the net. Chris Barnard opened the scoring in the 51st minute after hammering a left footed volley inside the box. Revolution were able to equalize in the 85th minute after a long throw in proved to be tough to handle for our defense. The 88th minute saw Tobi Osifeso pick up the ball in the box and hit a cross to the back post where Giuseppe Meli controlled it and hit a curler to the far post for the game winner! Peter Mattocks made his way down the line and hit a low cross to Tobi Osifeso who finished with a one time left footed hit for our third on the day! Goalkeeper Maxim Davis came up big in net on multiple occasions to keep Revolution at bay.
