UPSL MATCH WEEK 8 REPORT

Match week 8 saw our guys take on cross town rival Alexandria Reds for our second match up of the regular season. After trailing mid way through the first half Chris Barnard smashed a left footed volley to the top corner to tie things up right before halftime. Forward Duncan Dunkwu gave us the lead in the 57th minute with the assist coming from Chris Barnard. Alexandria would tie things up after scoring on a corner. Peter Mattocks scored a late game winner in the 90th minute plus stoppage time! Goalkeeper Trevor Kallendorf made some massive saves on the day!

This result sees us sit 3rd in the DMV South A table with a record of 6 W - 1 L - 1 D and 19 points, one point behind first place.

Our next match is Sunday June 8th at Thomas Jefferson High School. We will face Blazers FC who we beat 4-1 in our first meeting. Kickoff is at 5PM! We look forward to seeing you out there!
